A good buddy of mine sent me some stats. Some guy wrote a
report that says 60% of the people who join MLM never make
any money.
My friend did some research. Real estate agents spend about
$1000 to go to school, plus $250-$500 for a license. And 60%
quit without ever selling a single home.
Life insurance agents spend months in on-the-job training and
must pass an exam in most states. More than 60% only sell
ONE life insurance policy, and that is to themselves.
Three mortgage brokers who employ loan officers told me that
after months of study, on-the-job training, and taking the test,
30%-80% of loan officers drop out withour ever earning a
commision.
A friend of mine ran Kirby vacuum crews. After weeks of
training, the dropout rate was 90% in the first 2 weeks.
Eighty to 90% of new car salespeople drop out without ever
making a sale. Call your local car dealer.
So in just about any sales field, 60% or more drop out. And
just about the same number of people drop out of college their
freshman year, after spending $5,000 – $10,000 of Mom &
Dad’s money. A friend of mine sent his daughter to medical
transcription school for $2,500 and 3 months of her life. She
transcribed 10 tapes.
As they say, if it was easy, everybody would do it. Most
people will ALWAYS fail, whether it’s MLM, real estate, life
insurance, door-to-door sales, or even going to college.
They key is to understand the landscape so you can put yourself
in the best position to be successful. You can have a realistic
chance for MLM success if you understand what features you
should look for in an MLM company.
